Spectacular walks from the Blue Ball Inn
Exmoor is one of the smallest National Parks covering just 267 square miles and featuring nearly 1,000 kms of rights of way, perfect for walking holidays, short breaks and romantic weekend getaways . These walking and hiking trails offer unspoilt vistas and tranquility that include the serene beauty of Watersmeet and the truly dramatic landscape of the Valley of the Rocks where moorland plunges into cliffs to meet the sea. To ensure that our guests experience the best hiking that Exmoor can offer we have documented 7 spectacular walks starting from the Blue Ball Inn that will take you through some of the UK's most stunning countryside. Through Enchanted wooded valleys with fast flowing rivers, waterfalls and cascading streams. Along coastal paths with breathtaking views of a rugged coastline that forms the highest sea cliffs in England and across the magnificent expanse of open rolling moorland that offers a beautiful landscape tinged with purple when the heather is in bloom. From Minehead in the east to Combe Martin in the west Exmoor offers you spectacular walking and hiking through some of the most staggeringly beautiful landscapes imaginable.
